Bobby Labonte Behind the Wheel with Bobby Labonte:
"Charlotte has always been a positive track for me in my career. The Coca-Cola 600 is the longest race of the season and is a test on your patience. We had a great run last week during the All-Star Event and that gives us momentum toward the 600.
"I have been fortunate enough to lead a lot of laps at Charlotte, and I trust that my No. 71 team will be able to get our car dialed in for this weekend. Like the All-Star race, a lot of things can happen. It's about getting all the laps and usually you're right there with a good finish."
Doug Randolph, Crew Chief for the No. 71 TRG Chevrolet
Doug From the Box with Doug Randolph: "Bobby has a great feel and understanding for Charlotte. We'll take our notes from our run at the All-Star race last weekend and make some adjustments. This is a long race and it will definitely test our strategy. We've seen some guys win this race on fuel mileage, on tire conservation and a host a bunch of other things. You just can't worry a lot about what happens early in the race. This is one time where you have time to overcome any misfortune. We'll put together our strategy and stick to it."
From the Owner, Kevin Buckler:
"What a great race coming up. This race is a tribute to all of the great men and women serving this great country. This is the second Coca-Cola 600 for TRG Motorsports and it is quite a long race. "We're looking to get the most out of this weekend as we have some positive momentum from last weekend. We feel good confident about having a good race and learning more as we get ready for this summer stretch of races."
