CONCORD, N.C. (October 8, 2008) -Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) announced today it has partnered with Sony Computer Entertainment America and its long-time sponsor Target to have MotorStorm® Pacific Rift on Bryan Clauson's No. 40 Dodge in his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) debut at Lowe's Motor Speedway (LMS) on October 11.

CLAUSON IN CUP: Bryan Clauson will be making his debut in the Sprint Cup Series at Lowe's Motor Speedway in the No. 40 Target/Sony MotorStorm Pacific Rift Dodge. Clauson--a 19-year-old from Noblesville, Ind.--has been competing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) throughout this 2008 season, driving the No.40 Fastenal Dodge. He made his career-first NASCAR Nationwide start in September 2007 at Richmond International Raceway (RIR), and has tallied 23 NNS starts since. To-date, the teen racer has collected one pole, one top-five and two top-10 finishes.
ROOKIE RACER: Clauson is second in the NNS Raybestos® Rookie of the Year race as he has grabbed Rookie of the Race honors six times in 18 total starts this 2008 season, most recently winning the title at Kansas Speedway. In late August 2007, just one week prior to his NNS debut at RIR, Clauson scored his first career stock car victory in the ARCA RE/MAX Series at Gateway International Raceway. The stock car victory came in just his fifth career ARCA start. Clauson wrapped up his 2007 six-race ARCA RE/MAX schedule with one win, two runner-up finishes and four top-fives, completing all six efforts inside the top 15.
