AUGUST 31, 2001 -- Fans attending any of the races on September 6-8 at Richmond International Raceway can gain entry to The Looney Tunes FanFest, a free hospitality area that will include games, show cars and Looney Tunes costume characters. In addition, fans are also invited to watch a live airing of the QVC show For Race Fans Only with Kevin Harvick from the Richmond International Raceway Complex amphitheater on Thursday, September 6 at 10:00 p.m.

The Looney Tunes FanFest will be open all three days of race weekend, starting September 6 at 2:00 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite Looney Tunes costume characters, including Bugs Bunny, Tasmanian Devil, Sylvester & Tweety, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck and others. Six Looney Tunes show cars will be on display, including replicas of the cars that will be driven at the race by Jeff Gordon, Terry Labonte, Mike Skinner, Steve Park, Bobby Hamilton and Kevin Harvick.

Other kids activities at the Looney Tunes FanFest will include a moonwalk, racing simulators and a rock climbing wall.

The QVC show will feature racing merchandise with a Looney Tunes twist produced by Action Performance. Harvick is one of seven Chevy Monte Carlo drivers who have teamed up with Warner Bros. popular classic cartoon characters the Looney Tunes to have a special paint scheme on his car just for the race at Richmond International Raceway.
