Hank Parker, Jr. scheduled to drive at Rockingham for Evernham Motorsports.

STATESVILLE, N.C., (October 19, 2002) -- Hank Parker, Jr. is scheduled to drive the NO. 91 Dodge Intrepid R/T for Evernham Motorsports in the Winston Cup events at North Carolina Speedway November 1-3. Parker, who currently drives a Dodge Intrepid R/T in the Busch Series, is scheduled to compete in both series that weekend. Parker will run the No. 91 Dodge Intrepid R/T as part of Evernham Motorsports ongoing commitment to research and development for Dodge.

"We feel Hank deserved a shot at driving this car for us," said Ray Evernham, President and CEO of Evernham Motorsports. "He gave Dodge their first victory in the Busch Series and we feel he deserved to be rewarded for his loyalty to the Dodge program."

Sammy Johns, research and development coordinator for Evernham Motorsports, will serve as crew chief for the team. The pit crew will be made up of backup pit crew members for Evernham Motorsports. Dick Trickle attempted to qualify the No. 91 Dodge Intrepid R/T at Talladega in April.
