A light weekend racing schedule meant nothing to Skip Barber trained racers as they continue to record Top-10 finishes in NASCAR action. In Winston Cup competition, Skip Barber trained racers represented half of the Top-10 at yesterday's Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. Four drivers, John Andretti, Jeremy Mayfield, Jeff Gordon and Ward Burton, finished in the Top-5, taking the checkered flag in a train of positions 2-5. Early season winner Steve Park rounded out the Skip Barber Top-10 with his ninth place result. The race, which featured a number of firsts, was a strategic tangle and the backdrop for some mentally tough play.

Also on the .533-mile oval of Bristol, Randy LaJoie recorded a third place finish in Busch Grand National Series action in Saturday's Cheez-It 250.
