SCOTT RIGGS QUOTES:
"We did everything in our control to have a good race at Bristol in the spring, but we never got to prove how good our Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge Charger was. Qualifying got snowed out and we had to start from the rear of the field, which is part of the reason we were caught up in the wreck when Jeff Burton accidentally hit me from behind. We took our Charger behind the wall for repairs and when we came back on the track, the No. 32 car hit us from behind in almost the same scenario. We were definitely unlucky that day. We would be happy this weekend if our Valvoline Dodge ran just as strong, but with a little better luck."
RODNEY CHILDERS QUOTE:
"Chassis 110 was very fast for us last time we went to Bristol, but it took a lot of abuse. The guys spent a lot of time back in the garage during the race trying to get it back out on the track. Now we have replaced the entire rear clip on it as well as some other stuff. It looks better than the first time we brought it to the track. This weekend we just want to stay out of trouble and be consistent; that will be what it takes to come home with a top finish."
In his most recent Cup race at Bristol, the No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge was on a march to the front before being slammed from behind after checking up for a wreck. Riggs wound up in 41st position. It was his worst finish of the 2006 season.
