"We had a pretty good car. We were right there the whole race as far as speed goes. That was kind of our pit road speed. I got caught in like three or four segments and it was the same all the way around. We just missed it a touch there, but we worked all the way back. That didn't hold us back at all. The pit stops were pretty good there at the end and we had some pretty good adjustments. The guys did a real nice job."

WHAT HAPPENED ON THE LAST RUN? "I really felt like I could challenge when we came out of the pits that final time and started eighth, but the front tires just didn't work as good as they needed to. I was a little bit loose in and I just slid the nose too much and I couldn't get to the outside of anybody and couldn't beat them across the center on the bottom. It still wasn't too bad."

GREG BIFFLE - No. 16 3M Ford Fusion (Finished 8th)

"It was a pretty good night. We had a decent car. It wasn't the best car we've had here and I just think it was a mistake on the tire. It just seemed like this tire didn't have the grip and it was really, really hard to pass. It was definitely interesting out there tonight. I lost a bunch of ground when the 31 and I got together. I was underneath him and I don't know if he knew that or not, but he pinched down a little bit and we got together and I lost some ground, but, overall, it was a good night for us. I think it was a good night in the points. We're thinking about the chase. I definitely wanted a better night than that, but an eighth is okay."

MATT KENSETH - No. 17 Crown Royal Ford Fusion (Finished 10th)

"We got that flat and I got lucky that everybody had to pit under green, so we got lucky there to stay on the lead lap. That was good and to finish 10th was okay. We hoped for more than that, but we just kind of lost the handle on the car the last two or three runs."

STILL TWO RACES TO GO BUT DO YOU FEEL BETTER ABOUT SOLIDIFYING YOUR CHASE SPOT? YOU DID WHAT YOU NEEDED TO DO TONIGHT. "It's not just what we needed to do tonight, we need to do it every weekend. We need to get running better and get running more consistently in the top 10 . I mean, we finished 10th tonight but that needs to be your worst finish if you're gonna ever contend for a championship, so we need to keep working on it and get a little better."

TRAVIS KVAPIL - No. 34 Long John Silver's Ford Fusion (Finished 22nd)

"We kind of fought the handling a little bit. We were a little too tight all night long and got it better, but we were fortunate. We got a couple of lucky dogs and we actually had to pit under green with a flat tire, but it cycled through to where everybody had to pit so it didn't hurt us too bad. I'm proud of my guys. That was much better than we were a couple months ago here, so we've still got some work to do, but, all in all, not bad."

PAUL MENARD - No. 98 Menards Ford Fusion (Finished 21st)

"We started off and were pretty happy with the car. We were a little bit free, but the track rubbered up a lot and we just got too tight as the night went on. We had a sloppy night in the pits and it wasn't one of our better nights, that's for sure, but the guys did a good job preparing a good car. We just missed it a little bit."

DAVID GILLILAND - No. 38 Taco Bell Ford Fusion (Finished 26th)

"We blew a right-front tire early. The car was tight and something was wrong with our brakes. Our right-front brake was glowing and I don't know if we had some brake fans go out or what, but I just turned a bunch of rear brake into it and finished out the night. It was disappointing. We had a really fast Taco Bell Ford Fusion, but we'll just take some of our good notes and build on it."

DAVID RAGAN - No. 6 UPS Ford Fusion (Finished 32nd)

"The 43 struggled all weekend and we got caught up in one of his wrecks and our night was over before it began. I was encouraged because the first 75-100 laps our car was pretty fast and I felt like we'd have a good night, but it wasn't meant to be."

TONY RAINES - No. 37 A&W All-American Food Ford Fusion (Finished 28th)

"We worked on a loose car pretty much all weekend. Tonight, the car would take off okay, but then would get loose as the run went on. We made some good adjustments to help tighten it up, and by the halfway point we were actually running some pretty good lap times. We learned a lot and put the car back on the truck in one piece."
