* Tonight caps off a great week for Ford at Bristol Motor Speedway and marks the first time Ford has swept a NASCAR Truck-Busch-Cup weekend since California earlier this year when Mark Martin (Truck), Greg Biffle (Busch) and Matt Kenseth (Cup) all took the checkered flag. Martin won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race here on Wednesday night while Kenseth took the Busch Series event yesterday.

* Matt Kenseth won his fourth race of the season and took the checkered flag for the 14th time in his NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series career with tonight's victory.

* Kenseth became the first Ford driver to win back-to-back NNC races since Carl Edwards did it last year at Atlanta (Oct. 30) and Texas (Nov. 6).

* Kenseth also became the first Ford driver to sweep a Busch-Cup weekend since Edwards won both events at Atlanta last season (Mar. 19-20, 2005).

* Ford has now won 575 all-time NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series races.

* The win was Fusion's fifth all-time NNC triumph after debuting at Daytona in February.

* Tonight's win was the 30th all-time NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series win at Bristol Motor Speedway for Ford - the most for the manufacturer at any track currently on the circuit.

"I didn't think we had quite the car today, honestly. I thought Jeff Burton had everybody covered, but once you get to the lead - even at the half-mile tracks - clean air helped my car. If the 5 would have beat us out of the pits, he would have won. These guys did it for me again. I thank DeWalt, Ford and Carhartt, USG Sheetrock - all my sponsors for this. It's awesome. It's pretty cool. It's pretty awesome to win here two in a row."

THOUGHTS ON WINNING THIS RACE. "The last two weeks have been unbelievable - to win a couple of races and a Busch race. It's so awesome to win here at Bristol. It's so special."

YOU'VE CLINCHED A SPOT IN THE CHASE. DO YOU HAVE MOMENTUM FOR THE CHASE? "We have it but it can be lost at any time. This is really important. The guys are operating at a championship level. I was worried about going into the chase and not running good. This is what it's about - bringing your best piece and go there and try to win some races. If we can go into the chase like this, we'll have a shot at the championship. There are a lot of teams running awful good right now, but it sure feels good to win here. It's an unbelievable feeling."

MARK MARTIN - No. 6 AAA Ford Fusion (Finished 28th)

"I made a mistake. I was on the line and didn't know it and the officials didn't call it until we were gone, so we didn't have a chance to correct it. It was my mistake, and then we were gonna be fine to make it back up and I got in a wreck. I don't know what happened to the 4 car and that really messed the front end up so then we couldn't run. We had a good enough car to get back and have a reasonable finish and recover and rebound, but it wasn't our night. I've got to take the blame for that one."

DALE JARRETT - No. 88 UPS Ford Fusion (Finished 15th)

"We had a better night than what we've been having. The car was pretty good. The last two runs I got really tight in the center and that really hurt me. I had been free a lot of the night and we adjusted toward that and then we just didn't get adjusted back, but it was a really good job. The pit crew did a good job. Butch did a good job in the pits, so this is a lot more like what we like to do."

THERE SEEMED TO BE MORE GIVE AND TAKE THAN USUAL FOR THIS TRACK TONIGHT. "Yeah, a lot more. I was really surprised. People raced pretty clean and it made for a good night."

CARL EDWARDS - No. 99 Office Depot Ford Fusion (Finished 7th)

"We're gonna use these next 12 or 13 races to test for '07. We've kind of had a long, rough year with the luck, so we'll just make the most of it and go on and have a good time."

ONCE YOU GOT TRACK POSITION YOU WERE ABLE TO KEEP IT. "Yeah, we had a great car. We just struggled a little bit on pit road. My guys are working real hard and we're trying to get everything worked out. I'm behind them 100 percent and I think we'll get better."

YOU HAVE A HUGE HILL TO TRY AND CLIMB WITH JUST TWO RACES TO GO. "Yeah, but that won't stop this Office Depot team from learning everything we can for the rest of the season - go out and having a good time and trying to win races. I just have to thank all the fans for being behind us and Office Depot for what they're doing with the kids back to school. Congratulations to Matt and I had a good time tonight."

DO YOU OVERANALYZE SITUATIONS AND LOOK BACK AT WHAT YOU COULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENT? "I'm not an overanalyzer, but I definitely have looked at all the things we did to lose points this year and I've learned from it. I feel like we're kind of being tested in a lot of different ways and if we can keep our heads on straight and go out and do the best we can every week and learn from our lessons, we're gonna be a tough team to compete with in the future."

KEN SCHRADER - No. 21 U.S. Air Force Ford Fusion (Finished 13th)

"We just didn't have the front end stuck enough, but it wasn't bad by any means. They kept getting it better and it was a good points night like we needed. We keep stringing those teens together and that was the best one of our teens in the last five weeks, so it was a lot better. I'm looking forward to going next week."

HOW DID YOUR NIGHT GO OVERALL? "We weren't that good and we fell back some, but you've got to finish this race - you've got to. When someone got on me that I knew was faster, I let 'em go because it's either that or you get turned around and I wasn't gonna get turned around. But I knew once we got better, we'd get 'em back."

DAVID GILLILAND - No. 38 M&M's Ford Fusion (Finished 40th)

"I just got a little bit too low coming off of turn four and got on the apron and the car got loose. The momentum here carries you right into that outside wall, so it's bad for our No. 38 M&M's Ford Fusion. It was running real good today. We got lapped early because we didn't have as good a qualifying effort as we would have liked, but Todd Parrott and all of the guys were doing a great job. Todd made some adjustments on the car and we were good. We were running right there with them trying to get our lap back and just take our time getting up there, but I got about three inches too low off that apron and it's too bad. Our M&M's car was good today, but we'll get 'em next time. It's not the outcome we were looking for in our first time here, but I did learn a lot and we will be better the next time we come back."
