ELLIOTT SADLER (No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger)

"I'm OK. I'm just frustrated. It's a shame a car as fast as the Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger was tonight. It's frustrating to get caught speeding on pit road when I got passed. I've got to work on that a little bit. I got caught up with the lapped cars. It's very frustrating. My guys gave me an awesome racecar. We should have had a top-five tonight, but it just wasn't meant to be. We'll work on it and go to California and see if we can get 'em there. We had an awesome racecar. It's cool to be that fast two weeks in a row. I just don't understand getting caught speeding on pit road while getting passed. Somebody's got to explain that to me. I feel good about the way we're running. I need to do a better job as a driver being patient for Ray and keep us in the top 35 in points."

KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger)

"We were 10th-12th all night and we ended up 12th. We were probably the worst we had been all night on that last run. We just couldn't get the front tires to cut as good as we wanted. We kept working on it. The guys had good pit stops. They did a good job. We just didn't quite get it good enough to get to the top five. That's probably my second-best finish ever here. It's not too bad for me. It's just a rough day when all the guys in front of you in points finish ahead of you in the race. There are so many good race teams right now. We've got to figure out how to be better than them. We've got to finish in the top two or three in the next two races probably if we want to get in there if nobody else has a bad race. I knew where they (competitors in the points' race) tonight. I knew exactly where they were, but there was nothing I could do about it. I said two or three weeks ago that the 8 is not going to be the guy I'm going to pass. I knew he was going to be good at Michigan. He was good there at the start of the year. He was good at California and Bristol and he's always good at Richmond. We're good everywhere, too. We just need to put it together and have some real good races and see what everybody else does."

DAVID STREMME (No. 40 Coors Light Dodge Charger)

"Man, I wish we could have had a better finish tonight. We didn't qualify where we would have liked, but we were able to get back on the lead lap twice. The tire blew, and I had no indication before it happened. We had some damage when we hit the wall and had to come in for repairs. The Coors Light crew worked hard tonight, and we'll keep digging next week at Fontana."

ROY McCAULEY (Crew chief No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger)

"The Miller Lite Dodge was pretty good. We had a top-five car today. We got in trouble with a lap down car. Reed Sorenson was wrecking and we got tangled up in that. We had to fix the fender and go to the back of the line. We lost track position there. We were able to get back up to 13th on one of those runs. The next time in we got caught on a pit lane speeding penalty. We had to go to the back again and we got a little tight on that run. Then on another restart we broke the transmission. I think we had a lot of potential that wasn't realized. It was a long day and I think it ended up worse than it should have."

RYAN NEWMAN (No. 12 Alltel Dodge Charger)

"We had the top Dodge at times tonight on the racetrack, and that's good to say. The guys did a great job keeping the car fast. They improved on it a little bit and that's something we can't say about the whole year. We're looking forward to going back to some of these tracks the second time this season. I think we can make improvements. This is a relatively easy place to fix the car if you've got the right stuff to do it. We had one bad pit stop. I screwed up. I got in the box too straight and couldn't get out and that cost us a lot of track position. We were definitely a faster car than eighth."

SCOTT RIGGS (No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge Charger)

"We kept making adjustments all night and making the car better. I'm just proud of all the guys in the engine shop and all the guys at Evernham Motorsports. This team deserves this. They deserve a lot of these top fives, and I'm just proud to be part of it today. If we could get a win it would boost all of us, and we'd get a couple more after that. I wanted to see Kasey do good. I didn't want to see the 19 go out, that's for sure. We needed a good points day. We're shooting for a top 15 this year. It was a good day for us. We've just got to win a race.

"It was tough (racing the 24). He was holding me up a little bit and he knew it. I love this sport. I love being part of Evernham Motorsports. These guys gave me a great car and I was able to rally from the back and get a good finish. I hate the lapped car got us down and put us in the rear, but we took care of it. We had good racing going on all the way through the field, and it feels good to be competitive up front.

"I just tried to tell him (Jeff Gordon) good job, good race, and he tried to tell me to pass him on the straightaway. I did the same thing he would have done. He was holding me up in the middle of the corner, and when I was away from him he was driving a whole car length up in the corners. When I got to him the last 15 laps he was on the bottom. I could have dumped him, but I didn't. I told him good hard racing and he would have done the same thing. I think it was good on everybody's part. I'm proud of everybody."
