Bristol II: Dodge teams qualifying quotes

BRAD KESELOWSKI (No. 12 Penske Racing Dodge Charger) Qualified 15th "We were just a little bit free. All four corners were about equal, but not a bad run for this Penske Dodge. It's awful slick out there and you just can't overdrive the car.

"We were just a little bit free. All four corners were about equal, but not a bad run for this Penske Dodge. It's awful slick out there and you just can't overdrive the car. Otherwise, you run the risk of snapping the back end free. It was a real solid effort by the guys to keep working on this Penske Dodge all day long. I'll take a top-15 starting position here. It's a long race. We just need to stay clean, stay patient and be there to challenge at the end."

KURT BUSCH (No. Miller Lite "Vortex" Dodge Charger) Qualified 20th

"We were just too tight in the center (of the corner) and too loose coming off of Turn 4. We just haven't been able to get the Miller Lite Dodge to turn the center like we need to so far. It's been a little bit of a struggle."

SAM HORNISH JR. (No. 77 Mobil 1 Dodge Charger) Qualified 25th

"We've been working really hard to get the Mobil 1 Dodge to turn in the center of the corners. We've done everything that we know to do today, but it didn't make it much better. We went out there for qualifying and it was still free in the middle. I couldn't get back to the throttle fast enough. It wasn't a bad lap. Our early qualifying draw didn't help, but a solid effort by the guys. We raced really well here in the spring, so we'll see what happens."
