Schrader's Thoughts On Atlanta Motor Speedway...
"Atlanta is a fast track, and I have to admit that is hasn't always been one of my favorites - especially since it was reconfigured a few years ago. The racing has gotten better over the past few years as the groove has widened, and I expect to see an exciting race this weekend.

"We've had three straight weeks where the "M&M's"® Racing Team has had a chance at a top-10 finish, and bad luck has bitten us. We would really like to get the "M&M's"® car in the top 10, which is where it belongs. This is a great team with a lot of heart, and I can't think of any better place to turn around the start of the season than at Atlanta."

"M&M's"® Racing At Atlanta Motor Speedway...

* This weekend marks the one-year anniversary for crew chief Newt Moore with Ken Schrader and the "M&M's"® Racing Team. In Moore's first trip to Atlanta last season, he led the No. 36 machine to an eighth-place finish. Since Moore has come on board with the team, the No. 36 car has posted five top-10 finishes and two top fives (both in non-points races).

* The trip to Atlanta Motor Speedway is like a homecoming of sorts for the No. 36 "M&M's"® team and their teammates in the No. 10 stable. Georgia is home to two of the team's three owners - Read Morton and Tom Beard. The team's third owner, Nelson Bowers, resides in Tennessee.

* This season, chocolate fans around the globe will be able to pick a new color for the famous "M&M's"® mix as part of the GLOBAL COLOR VOTE(tm). On Wednesday, consumers started voting for a new "M&M's"® Color - purple, pink or aqua - simply by visiting www.mms.com. The winning color will begin appearing in "M&M's"® bags in August. The racing team will also be part of the fun this summer when Schrader will drive the winning color car at Bristol Motor Speedway.

* Atlanta marks the first race for the 2002 season of the yellow and blue Pedigree® paint scheme. The No. 36 Pedigree® car will make appearances at six races this season, including both Charlotte races in May, Indianapolis, Kansas City and Phoenix.
