MATT KENSETH'S THOUGHTS ON ATLANTA: "I really like Atlanta, and always have. It's a track we have never won at, but have had some success there. Atlanta is one of the fastest unrestricted tracks we race on, so I'm always excited to go there. Atlanta is high banked and fast - I really like it because of the banking. You can get some major speed off the corners onto the straights."
ROUSH ENGINEER CHIP BOLIN'S THOUGHTS ON ATLANTA: "We are taking car MMR- 006 to Atlanta this weekend. This car was built by the 17 team in their rookie year, and always seems to run well at the larger 1.5mile tri-ovals. In fact, this same car brought us our first Winston Cup victory at the Coca-Cola 600 in May of 2000. The car has been on the track three times during the 2002 season to include California, a fourth place finish in Atlanta, and a victory at Texas. We always look forward to running this car because it races really well on these types of tracks."
SPOTTER MIKE CALINOFF'S THOUGHTS ON ATLANTA: "I love spotting at Atlanta. It's fast and the DeWALT team always looks forward to going there. Matt really has the place figured out so I think we'll be in great shape and try to keep a good spot in the points."
