Elliott Sadler, driver of the No. 38 Combos Ford Fusion, is scheduled to start 28th in today's Golden Corral 500 -- weather permitting. Sadler spoke about what he'll do if rain delays on-track activities this afternoon.

ELLIOTT SADLER -- No. 38 Combos Ford Fusion

IS THERE ANYTHING WORSE AT A RACE TRACK THAN RAIN? "No. This is tough right here. Mentally and physically you're trying to get ready for the race and get prepared, but you don't know whether it's gonna happen today or tonight. The weather for tomorrow doesn't look that good either, so it's a tough deal. It's tough on everybody, not only us but the crews and the guys who are going through trying to get the cars inspected in the rain. It's just a tough day."

WHAT WILL YOU DO TODAY WHILE WAITING IT OUT? "I'm just gonna go hang out in the bus and play some video games and just stay dry and relax. I'll wait until I hear the word from NASCAR, but it's tough. You look and see all the fans sitting in the stands. I can't believe with the way it's raining that all of them are here sitting and waiting it out with us. NASCAR is gonna do everything they can. We all want to try to race today or tonight someway somehow, so hopefully that will happen."

WILL THE RAIN HAVE A MAJOR EFFECT ON THE TRACK BASED ON WHAT YOU SAW IN THE BUSCH RACE YESTERDAY? "No, I don't think so. It won't take long with 43 guys on the track for all of the rubber to be built back up. It might be a little slick to begin with, but after the first pit stop all of the rubber will be back on and we'll be fine."

YOU WILL ALSO PROBABLY WATCH SOME COLLEGE BASKETBALL TODAY. "I am gonna watch some college basketball today, definitely. I'm kind of looking forward for those games to start. My Tar Heels don't start until later, so I'll watch some of the other games first and then watch those guys."

HOW ARE YOU DOING IN YOUR BRACKET? "I'm not doing too good in my bracket. I had Kansas going a long ways and they got upset. I've missed a few because we've had some great upsets. I had Tennessee going a little bit further than what they did. I actually had Xavier beating Gonzaga, so I messed that up. Gonzaga has won two games, so I missed those two lines. I've got a lot of work to do, but that's the fun of it. I thought I made some good picks. I think I missed six or seven in the first round and I'm sure I'm gonna miss some in the second, but it's been fun to watch. It's been a great tournament so far. I don't think anybody can pick a clear-cut champion of who they think is gonna win right now."
