Lee wins CASCAR race in Quesnel QUESNEL, BC (July 18, 1998) Calgarys Wade Lee won the United Concrete & Gravel Gold Pan 150 at Quesnels Gold Pan Speedway on Saturday night. Driving his GM Goodwrench Pontiac Grand Prix, Lee lined up third in the field of 15 starters and took the lead, for keeps, on lap 5 of the 150 lap race. Carl Harr of St. Albert, AB made a series of five pit stops during the race to repair damage suffered in a crash. To their credit, Harrs crew was able to keep their driver on the lead lap and he went on to finish second. Another St. Albert resident, rookie Todd Nichol, took the third and final podium position.
