RANGER'S MOV IS MOST COMMANDING IN CANADIAN SERIES HISTORY

BOWMANVILLE, Ontario, Canada (June 15, 2009) -- Andrew Ranger led 31 of the 51 laps and won the Dickies 200 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race in record-breaking fashion at Mosport International Raceway.

Ranger's margin of victory, 6.678 seconds, was the largest in series history. He set the mark after taking the lead just a dozen laps before the end of the race around the 2.49-mile road racing circuit.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the Series. The bias-ply tire line that Goodyear builds for the Canadian series is also supplied to the NASCAR Camping World Series East and West. Thus, the line of tires must be applicable for road racing, short track and speedway circuits.

Ranger's win was his second at Mosport and the fourth of his career. He started from the pole, having paced the field in time trials with a lap averaging 104.000 mph. He averaged 79.220 mph for the race distance, leading laps 1-18 and 39-51.

Anthony Simone finished second, followed by J.R. Fitzpatrick (who raced in a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race earlier in the weekend), D.J. Kennington and Ron Beauchamp Jr.
