June 1, 2010 (London, ON): Delaware Speedway is pleased to announce sponsorship from Keystone Light for the upcoming NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race which will run Saturday June 5th at the half-mile track just west of London. The track has also put together a promotional partnership with the Fleetwood Country Cruize-in, the largest outdoor car show in Canada. As a result, Saturday's NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race will be known as the "KEYSTONE LIGHT 200 presented by the Fleetwood Country Cruize-in."

"We're excited and proud to represent Molson's and their Keystone Light brand through this great event," said Delaware Speedway General Manager Joe Czernai. "Our facility has enjoyed a partnership with Molson over the last two seasons. They have been very supportive of the speedway and we're grateful for the chance to work with them on one of our largest weekends of the year."

The partnership with the Fleetwood Country Cruize-in will see two of the biggest automotive-related events in Ontario team up in an effort to co-promote the other and draw even more visitors and corporate support into Southwestern Ontario in the years to come.

Over the last six years, the Fleetwood Country Cruize-in has received international acclaim. Administered and hosted by Steve Plunkett at his estate at 9282 Elviage Drive just minutes from Delaware Speedway, the Fleetwood Country Cruize-in is host to literally thousands of classic and custom cars and has become one of the most significant contributors to various charities in the region. In 2009 the event raised over $300,000.00 for a combined twenty-six different charities in one day alone.

"We're very grateful to Steve Plunkett for welcoming us into his event and giving us the chance to try something new," said Kevin Bulmer of CPT Entertainment, the sales and marketing company serving Delaware Speedway. "Having the Fleetwood event as a partner on our NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race will offer incredible exposure through the excitement around the event, the National television re-broadcast of the event on TSN and a whole lot more. Meantime, as the race track continues to evolve into one of the top entertainment destinations in the region, having the chance to be in front of thousands of car enthusiasts and support a great community event like Steve's is clearly a win-win."

The KEYSTONE LIGHT 200 presented by the Fleetwood Country Cruize-in will take the green flag at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 5th and will be broadcast on tape delay several times on TSN (dates TBD). DJ Kennington of St. Thomas is the defending race winner.

Advance tickets to the KEYSTONE LIGHT 200 presented by the Fleetwood Country Cruize-in are available online now at www.delawarespeedway.com. Early bird discounts are available until midnight on Wednesday, June 2, 2010.
