May 2, 2006 -- Wyoming, ON: Dave Whitlock is pleased to announce that NMT/Nitrex Metal Technologies is returning for a fourth season as a partner with Whitlock Motorsports as they make a bid for their fourth National Championship in the CASCAR Super Series. NMT's logo will again be displayed on the side of the #39 NTN Bower/NMT Dodge Charger.

In other exciting news, Dave Whitlock is pleased to announce a three-race deal that will see veteran road racer Pierre Bourque field a Whitlock Motorsports prepared Dodge. These events include the Grand Prix of Edmonton, Grand Prix Trois Rivieres and the Montreal Indy. "We are excited to have the opportunity to prepare cars for Pierre for these three events" said Whitlock. "Pierre is a former open-wheel racer and has competed in F3000, F3, Formula Atlantic and IndyLights among others. We expect Pierre to be very competitive in these CASCAR events."

Pierre Bourque is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame. He is also President of Bourque Newswatch, Canada's top independent online news website and a frequent radio host and guest on Canadian radio from coast-to-coast.

In team news, Whitlock Motorsports is pleased to announce the return of Sam & Cherie Putnam to the Whitlock team. Putnam changed tires for Whitlock teammate Mark Dilley during the early 2000's. "Sam brings several years of tire changing & tire preparation experience to the team and we look forward to putting that experience to good work" stated Whitlock.

Whitlock Motorsports attended the annual Mopar Day event sponsored by Mopar at Barrie Speedway on Friday April 28 where they had a chance to practice and do some fine-tuning on their new Dodge Chargers. A big thank you to Mopar for a great day.

The first event on the schedule is Victoria Day weekend at Barrie Speedway, located on the 8th Line of Oro just north of Barrie. Racing action will take place on Saturday May 20th and Sunday May 21st.
