Veteran Bill Burns will work as Louis-Philippe Dumoulin’s new crew chief for the 2016 season of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
In 47 days, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin will enter his fifth season in the NASCAR Canadian series. In collaboration with renowned crew chief Bill Burns, who has known success for over 20 years in the world of stock cars, the No. 47 Dodge WeatherTech Canada/ Groupe Bellemare driver will overcome new challenges within the Dumoulin Competition racing team.
Since 1992, Bill Burns has worked alongside some of the best Canadian stock car racers such as Don Thompson Jr, Kevin Dowler, Cole Pearn, Derek and Shaun Polack, as well as two-time series' champion, Andrew Ranger.
“Bill Burns has won multiple championships and races. When the opportunity to recruit him presented itself, it was a no-brainer. We’re very happy to have him with us, it’s a real plus-value for me and for Dumoulin Competition,” shares an enthused Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.

This new image underlines the fifth season which is about to begin for the Trois-Rivieres who, beyond having been crowned champion in 2014, now has four victories, 24 top-5s, and 38 top-10s in 59 total starts in the NASCAR Pinty’s series.
“We can’t wait to see it on the track!” mentions Louis-Philippe Dumoulin. “The car’s new design was developed in collaboration with Les Enseignes F.X. Boisvert, the same Trois-Rivieres local company that created the lettering for the No. 47 WeatherTech Canada/ Groupe Bellemare team’s trailer. We’re very happy with the result.”
￼The first race of the 2016 season will take place this upcoming May 22nd at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park as part of the Victoria Day Speedfest.
