PRAMAC RACING TEAM WEB SITE IS GETTING MORE GREEN
Starting from this week, the official Pramac Racing Team website is turning even more green. It has in fact been certified as "CO2neutralwebsite" by the Danish Foundation, The Science Park. The certificate, available from the link placed on the website, certify that the Pramac Racing is one of the companies that participate to the initiative that the Foundation is planning for the neutralization of CO2 emissions due the use of the website. This means that carbon emissions caused by who owns the website and from the people that consult the website are completely neutralized by the building of plants that produce renewable energy and by the purchasing of green energy certificates that are sold by European governmental units. Thanks also to the audit made by Deloitte that certifying the exact amount of energy to compensate, Pramac Racing website will be entirely zero impact. The Foundation, Science Park, aims to offset all the energy that is being consumed by the official website of the Pramac Racing, investing in assets that will produce the equivalent energy from clean energy sources. Another great initiative that the Pramac Racing has intension to continue for three years on its website. After the use of renewable energy, electric bikes in the paddock, recycled paper, recycling and green feathers, another great initiative for the first MotoGP controlled impact Team.

"Green Energy Team project is supporting another great initiative, our website will be able to not issue the slightest particle of CO2 into atmosphere. It 's a very big step for our Team that has as main objective for this year the minimize of C02 emissions. We had contact the C02neutralwebsite organization that, thanks to Deloitte audits, had the mission to reduce and to offset the energy consumed by various websites. The agreement made with the company will last three years. We are very proud to be the first motorsport team to agree to an initiative like this. From this week, all users can visit our site, download our pictures or read our newsletter in the most environmentally friendly way. "
Morten Nielsen - CO2neutralwebsite founder
"Pramac Racing Team involvement will give a huge emphasis to our initiative. On the 1300 companies that have already took part to our initiative, just a few are not Danish and a few have international relevance as the Pramac Racing Team. Our association requires that the participants had 100% offset the use of their website. Recent studies have found that the use of the Internet and information technology has now overcome the airplane flight as producer of CO2 emissions. But Internet use is increasing and consumption is growing more and more. This also has a consequence in CO2 emission increasing. The goal of this project is to allow companies to offset the CO2 emissions caused by the use of their website, either from the user, updating the website, both from the client, that use the site to get information on the team. The hope is that through the involvement of the Pramac Racing Team, many other companies will try to reduce the emissions produced by their websites, all to ensure a greater respect for the environment.
