2008 FIRST TEST WITH NEW COLORS FOR THE PRAMAC RACING TEAM KALLIO FOURTEENTH, CANEPA SEVENTEENTH
Fabiano Sterlacchini -- Pramac Racing Technical Director
"At the end of the session we put together all the information achieved during the day. After having ridden with the same tyre for many laps, we used a new one and thanks to all the details we have put together we made it to sensibly improve our best lap time right at the end. Mika is working well and he is really precise on what he says every time he comes back in the box. We are not too far from an hypothetical second row and this is not too bad for a rookie."
Marco Rigamonti -- Niccolgrave Canepa track engineer
"Today we have been really unlucky. Due to some various technical problems Niccolò never made it to do more than 3 or 4 laps at the time. On the contrary he needs to ride for as many consecutive laps possible to get a good rhythm and ride in the cleanest way possible. We hope that the weather will remain nice all day tomorrow so that Niccolò will use in the best way the last day of testing."
Mika Kallio -- Pramac Racing rider -- 14th in 1'41.226
"We are not too far from the middle group, but anyway I am not too happy because I know I can do much better. I don't really like this position; tomorrow I will try to stay no more than a second from the fastest rider. Surely I still have to improve my riding style with this bike, but I think I found the right method of work to increase my feeling when on the track."
Niccolograve Canepa -- Pramac Racing rider -- 17th in 1'41.851
"I didn't ride too well, but today I found a little too many complications that didn't allow me to ride for many consecutive laps. I hope tomorrow will be better. Surely to be so far back in the standing is not a pleasure, but I know I can do much more and tomorrow I will give all possible to demonstrate it."
