The MotoGP riders will have to battle against high temperatures and humidity during the Grand Prix of Qatar this weekend.

The MotoGP teams and riders are in for an extremely hot race weekend as they land in Qatar for the next round of the 2025 season.

According to Weather.com, the riders will be battling with highs of 38°C at the Losail International Circuit.

Friday, 11 April is expected to be the hottest day for the riders over the Qatar race weekend. Temperatures are likely to reach 38°C on practice day with 27% humidity and winds SE at 5-10 mph.

Sunset will take place at 5.55 p.m., meaning the practice sessions for Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP will go ahead under the lights of the Losail International Circuit. The evening will see humidity soar to 65% with only a 5% chance of rain.

Saturday is predicted to be slightly cooler, but only by 2°C, with the temperature expected to peak at 36°C. Easterly winds could increase to between 10 and 15 mph. There is only a 2% chance of rain. After sunset at 5.55 p.m., the humidity rises again to 60% and the temperature drops to 24°C for the evening track sessions.

Sunday will see similar conditions to Saturday with a high temperature of 35°C, which will drop to 24°C after sunset, and humidity at 39% during the day and rising to 66% during the evening/night. Rain is not expected to be a threat for race day, with only 1% chance of precipitation predicted.
