MotoGP organisers have announced a date change for July's German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring.
The race, which was pencilled for the July 16 weekend in the provisional calendar, will be moved forward by two weeks to take place on July 2 instead.
This way, the race will take place just a week after the Dutch TT, which is scheduled for the weekend of June 25.
With this change, a clash with the F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, which was pushed back a week in the final version of the F1 calendar, is avoided.
The change means MotoGP and F1 will clash on seven weekends during 2017. It also extends the MotoGP summer break by two weeks, as the Czech GP at Brno will take place on August 6.
