Karel Abraham heads to San Marino with high expectations
The Cardion AB Motoracing rider Karel Abraham heads to San Marino after several difficult races on board Ducati Desmosedici GP11 and wants to forget the results of the last two Grand Prix which he did not finished due to a technical problems.
„Last couple of races did not end up well for me, but I believe that this time it will be different,“ Karel Abraham, who heads to San Marino with 46 points ensuring his thirteenth position in the overall standings, said. „From 2007 to 2009 I got the points here, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to start here last year due to my injury.“
In 2010, when Karel Abraham was recovering from his injury, the tragic accident between the Japanese rider Shoya Tomizawa and two other riders happened in the Moto2 race at the Misano Circuit.
„It was a horrible moment,“ Karel Abraham said about the horrific crash after which Shoya Tomizawa died in hospital. „Shoya will be always in our hearts,“ added.
