Karel Abraham will start from the fourth row on the grid

Czech motorcycle rider Karel Abraham took eleventh place in the qualifying practice for the Grand Prix of Italy.

Trying to find the right set-up of the Ducati Desmosedici GP11, the Cardion AB Motoracing rider made significant progress at the Mugello Circuit and set a best time of 1:49,678 in the early stages of the qualifying practice which was disrupted by rain.

"I am quite satisfied," said Karel Abraham when he returned to the garage of the team Cardion AB Motoracing. "This result is good for us, although it’s not as good as the results of the qualifications for the previous two races."

Twenty-one years old rider, who completed only eight full laps, continued: „We worked on the set-up of the motorcycle, especially on the front end which was - as well as yesterday - very unstable.“

"We will try to make some changes in tomorrow‘s warm-up and then we will see," added Karel Abraham.
