The pre-event press conference for the MotoGP final at Valencia has been cancelled after all MotoGP riders were summoned to FIM's Permanent Bureau to discuss the events of the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Motorcycling's ruling body has announced that all riders and their team managers will be required to meet FIM president Vito Ippolito and Dorna boss Carmelo Ezpeleta on Thursday in Valencia.
As a result of the meeting, the usual Thursday press conference, schedule for 5pm local time, has been cancelled.
The meeting is aimed at discussing all the events surrounding the controversy following the on-track clash between Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez during the Sepang race.
Rossi is set to start from the back of the grid in Valencia after a penalty for making contact with Marquez.
The Italian Yamaha rider has appealed to the Court for Arbitration of Sport (CAS) for the penalty to be suspended, with the Swiss body set to announce its verdict on or before Friday 6 November.
