Marc Marquez's management has confirmed that Valentino Rossi's VR46 Racing clothing company will no longer supply the Spaniard's merchandising in 2016.
As reported by Motorsport.com last month, two-time MotoGP champion Marquez, as well as younger brother and Moto2 rider Alex, have instead signed a multi-year merchandising deal with Gruppo Pritelli.
The Italian company already supplies merchandise to a number of other MotoGP riders, most notably Jorge Lorenzo.
A statement read: "ACM Management, the company that manages the image rights of riders Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez, informs that it has reached an agreement with the VR46 Apparel company to terminate in a friendly manner the licencing contracts it had and through which the latter company exploited the merchandising from both riders.
"Both parties thank each other for their services during the duration of the agreement and wish each other the best for the future."
