Important work on settings for Luthi in Brno

The first free practice of the Grand Prix Ceske republiky started moderately with a 15th position for Tom Luthi and the Interwetten Moriwaki Moto2 Team, but was not disappointing. Luthi had difficulties to find his rhythm back after the break and also the work on the set up for the bike is not finished yet before the Grand Prix in Brno. Important work on the settings will need to be done before tomorrow's session. After long discussions with the partners like Moriwaki and Ohlins the best idea for the settings already has been agreed and Luthi is confident that the direction will be the right one for tomorrow and the race on Sunday.

Tom Luthi, 15 -- 2'05.741:
"I was back on my bike for the first time after the break and it really felt good. You feel a bit rusty after such a long time and I had to find a rhythm at the beginning and during almost the whole session. Also the settings need to be improved for the bike, but I can see that we all think in the same direction with that. For tomorrow the solution should be found for sure."

Terrell Thien, Team Manager:
"We know where we lost the time. The 15th position doesn't look very nice, but everything is fine and I am not worried. I am sure we will fix the problem until tomorrow."
