Tom Luthi finished the qualifying for the British Grand Prix in Silverstone with a ninth place and was able to improve himself by one place since the second free practice this morning. As it seems to get colder each minute in Silverstone, it is a real challenge to find the perfect set up for the Moriwaki MD600 and the Interwetten Moriwaki Moto2 Team had to try a many different settings, which did cost some time today.

The Warm up tomorrow morning will be used for even more setting changes to adjust the bike as much as possible for the first Motorcycle Grand Prix in Silverstone since 1986, the first ever British Grand Prix for the new Moto2 class.

Tom Luthi, 9 -- 2'10.654:
"We had to collect as much data as possible in the practice today and we had to try to ride as many laps as possible and also to set up the bike ideal. This was all a bit too much for one session. In general I think it went well. Unfortunately I lost one place at the end and I have to start the race tomorrow from 9th spot on the grid. We want to try a few more things tomorrow during the Warm up and I need a good start of course. I hope it is not too cold tomorrow."

Terrell Thien, Team Manager:
"Tom is in the Top 10 and that is good. Unfortunately he will start the race from third row on the grid, the second row would have been better, but if Tom has a good start all is possible tomorrow."
