Rolfo concluded the second practice session in Jerez happy with how the week in Andalusia had gone. "The bike has improved greatly since winter testing and means that it is now much easier to get a base setting."

"We still however some work to do and we are going to try a few things during the warm up that we hope will give positive results. Now however we are closer than ever to exploiting the bike's potential and Roberto has a much better understanding the bike's reactions."

"The bike has changed a lot compared with last season, Roberto is a talented rider but obviously needs time to adapt -- a process that he is achieving perfectly. We are working very closely with Honda and are seeing the results on the track."
