Sachsenring -- Germany, July 25: Roberto Rolfo finished the first day of practice at the Sachsenring circuit in Germany, the ninth round of the 16-round series, satisfied with the performance of his Fortuna Honda.

Rolfo, who set the second fastest qualifying time of the day, and close to pole position, is satisfied with the progression the machine has made since the last grand prix, in England, and very happy with the work the team has undertaken.

"The team is working at 100%, that we can see from the performance of the machine, notable from the Donington Park race. From the very beginning today everything ran well." Explained the Altadis rider.

"Obviously the test we did at Brno last week allowed us to concentrate our efforts on all areas of the machine and that's why I feel very comfortable with the Fortuna Honda. From the first minute of free-practice today I set good lap times a little bit easy. It's logical that we still have to keep working but in general the suspension and chassis set up is going in the right direction," added the Fortuna Honda rider.

"We have to work to get rid of the front end chatter we have under braking, and try to find a little more acceleration, obviously that's very important on a circuit like this. I repeat, in general the work is going in a very good way and I think we have reasons enough to be optimistic." Concluded Rolfo.
