Rolfo and the Fortuna Honda in fine form

Donington ark England July 13: Roberto Rolfo and his Fortuna Honda were in good from at the British GP, fighting until the very end to take a place on the podium, eventually having to bow to the mechanical supremacy f his rivals. His fifth place today leaves his championship hopes intact.

At the British GP the RS250RW confirmed its technology is now much closer to that of its rivals, and that the team is able to battle for the championship in a very competitive championship.

Just one-thousandth of a second kept Rolfo from the reward his hard fought race, and he had to settle for fifth place at the finishing line.

"It was a very hard race because I could run the same lap times as the leaders Maybe we still need a little more acceleration at circuits like Donington park, right now we are giving our rivals too much of an advantage." Lamented the Fortuna Honda rider.

"We have to continue working hard and that's why we will leave for the Czech Republic tomorrow to test at Brno. We will try and prepare the German GP and hope we improve the Fortuna Honda in some aspects, and myself, to determine the best specifications." Explained Rolfo.

"There is only a small margin in performance to close to make us completely competitive with our rivals in the race to take the title." Said the Altadis rider. He went on to say. "Today it was very sad to loose fourth place by just one-thousandth of a second, after I had pushed so hard all through the race."
