Donington Park England July 11: Roberto Rolfo started the weekend on the British Isles with his best foot forward. Rolfo is at Donington Park, England, to contest the British 250cc GP the halfway stage of the 16-round World Championship. The work carried out by his Fortuna Honda team during the break between Assen and the first day in England has left Rolfo in a very optimistic frame of mind.

The Fortuna Honda rider will use a selection of new parts at Donington Park, the most visible the fairing. The new firing has been in constant evolution and is a definite improvement, this is obvious from his lap times, and Rolfo took a provisional front row fourth place in qualifying.

"We dedicated most of the day to working on the rolling chassis, very important on a circuit like Donington Park. At the end of the day I felt we are very close to the optimum set up," said Roberto Rolfo."

"The new fairing has really improved the aerodynamics of the machine and combined with the evolution of the engine allowed me to set very fast times, I'm fourth on the provisional grid. Most important of all I feel there is still room for improvement." Rolfo explained.
