Randy de Puniet and Thomas Luthi have been confirmed as guest test riders for KTM in 2016 as the Austrian manufacturer prepares to enter MotoGP in 2017.
The duo join KTM's existing test riders Alex Hofmann and Mika Kallio, who have both already shaken down the RC16 prototype.
De Puniet is a veteran of 140 Grand Prix starts in the premier class, having raced for Kawasaki, LCR Honda, Pramac Ducati and Aspar between 2006 and 2013 and clinching two podium finishes.
He took up a development role for Suzuki's MotoGP team in 2014, contesting the final race of the season at Valencia, before enduring a difficult season with the Japanese manufacturer's World Superbike squad in 2015.
2005 125cc champion Luthi is a stalwart of the intermediate class of Grand Prix racing, having amassed a combined 149 starts in 250cc/Moto2, picking up five wins.
He is set to contest Moto2 again in 2016 with the Technomag Interwetten squad aboard a Kalex.
