Karel Abraham finished 7th in spite of crash
Rain affected MotoGP race at the Grand Prix of Spain in which the Czech motorcycle rider Karel Abraham finished seventh in spite of crash.
"I am very happy with this result, but I am sorry that I crashed because I could even finish in fifth place," said Karel Abraham after his return to the garage of the Cardion AB Motoracing team.
With Stoner and Simoncelli crashing away from the race, the Czech motorcycle rider made good progress during the first part of the Spanish Grand Prix and was able to beat many riders.
Unfortunately, in the lap 19, when he was battling with Hiroshi Aoyama for the seventh place, made Karel Abraham mistake and crashed.
"We rode side-by-side with Aoyama, but unfortunately I made small mistake and crashed," continued Karel Abraham, who returned to the saddle of his Ducati Desmosedici GP11 and finished 7th in his second MotoGP race.
The Cardion AB Motoracing team is now heading back to the Czech Republic.
