RML 3 Car Test

RML took exclusive use of Snetterton circuit in Norfolk earlier this week for a full days testing with their Le Mans entered Lola MG Prototype, an FIA GT Championship Saleen S7R and a Historic Group C Aston Martin Nimrod.

The Le Mans 24 Hour driver line up of Mike Newton, Tommy Erdos and Nathan Kinch were all on hand to gain valuable seat time in the MG and add mileage to the latest development parts. The team concentrated on tyre development work and with Dunlop's support tested a number of different tyre options for the race.

Also present at the test was an FIA GT Championship Saleen S7R. Fresh from its impressive race pace in Hockenheim Chris Goodwin drove the No. 8 car to continue with the teams chassis and tyre development programme.

Ray Mallock and his son Michael enjoyed time on track with the RML developed Aston Martin Nimrod which Ray last raced in 1984. The car is entered in this years Group C-GTP Historic Race at Le Mans which precedes the 24 Hours.
