GT ace Rene Rast will enter the World Endurance Championship on a full-time basis in 2016, teaming up with reigning LMP2 champion G-Drive Racing.
The 29-year-old German will partner top LMP2 driver Roman Rusinov and GP2 race winner Nathanael Berthon in the #26 Oreca 05 - Nissan, run by JOTA Sport.
Rast, a three-time Porsche Supercup champion and 2014 ADAC GT champion, has one LMP2 outing in WEC under his belt, having co-driven Sebastien Loeb Racing's Oreca 03R to fourth place in class in the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours.
He was part of Audi's third LMP1 entry at Spa and Le Mans last year, finishing fourth and seventh respectively.
Most recently, he took his second Daytona 24 Hours GT win with Magnus Racing.
Rast's signing completes the G-Drive line-up for 2016, with the #26 car to be joined by Simon Dolan, Jake Dennis and Giedo van der Garde in the #38 for the Le Mans 24 Hours.
Rast and his new squadmates Rusinov and Berthon will test the Oreca 05 in Spain next week.
