24 Hours of Le Mans, 2012-06-17. Sharp sharks attack.

This is how Le Mans look like on Sunday morning at 7: like a dry golden ocean, with a few sharks left, attacking each others as the race enters its final stage. In the morning hour, the natural selection process is in full force and it's Darwinism 101: survival of the fittest, to win the greatest race in the world.

And the fittest may be somewhat dirty, but they still look so cool. I remember having some reserve when those sharp fins started to appear on the back of LMP1 cars. They may have looked strange at first, but they have grown on me since. Their profile may still look heavy, but some angles are quite powerful, too. Like in this 3/4 rear angle. No doubt in my min that those cars are still the sexiest currently racing.
