KUMHO and Miracle running strong at hour six

Over six hours into the 24 Hours of Le Mans, KUMHO and Miracle Motorsports are running strong. The team currently sits fifth in LMP2 and 21st overall, just one lap out of fourth place and two laps out of third place in LMP2. The team has been running laps consistently in the four- minute range, with a best lap of 3:57.423. The team has made eight pit stops, including one stop to change coil packs when the engine developed a minor miss.

The team's KUMHO tires have been performing well without problems. "We've been double stinting the tires and they're wearing very well," said KUMHO Tire USA motorsports manager Rudy Consolacion. "The tire temps have been right where we want them, and we're discussing whether to triple stint the tires during the night. That decision will basically depend on the driver."
