Both Lotus Praga LMP2 cars seized by the courts at Le Mans

The cars' participation in this weekend's 24 Hours of Le Mans could be put to a premature end.

It has been confirmed that both Lotus Praga LMP2 cars have been seized by authorities this afternoon in Le Mans. The two Lotus T128 cars entered by the German team Kodewa run by Colin and Romulus Kolles were dismantled and hauled away from the track due to alleged financial woes.

The two Lotus entries are scheduled to be driven by Kraihamer/Charouz/Holzer in one car and Bouchut/Weeda/Rossiter in the other.

Details are still forthcoming and will keep you up to date on all new developments.
