2009 Season Road Race Spec Oils Announced

03.05.2009 -- Following weeks of testing, the WKA has announced the approved spec oils for The Dunlop Tire National Road Racing Series driven by Mazda 2009-season. All approved oils are mandatory for use in all 2-Cycle Sprint classes except CIK & WKA 125 Sprint Shifters and shall be mixed with 1 gallon of Sunoco 110 Leaded Race Fuel available for purchase at each event.

Mix 8 ounces of any of the following oils to 1 gallon of race gas sold at the track (pump will be designated): Blendzall 455 Ultra, Blendzall 460 Castor, Blendzall 4600 Green, Burris Blend, Burris Castor, Manhattan Oil Power Plus 2 Stroke Oil, Motul 800 2T, Redline 2 cycle Kart Oil, Redline 2 Stroke Racing Oil, RevClean Castor, T.S. Engine Oil or XERAMIC Castor Evolution 2T. Rotax engines mix 6 oz per gallon. Stock Honda mix 6 - 8 oz per gallon.

Race Awards Available at Kershaw

03.05.2009 -- Any WKA Dunlop Tire National Road Racing Series driven by Mazda 2008-season competitor who missed the banquet and/or picking up their award as well as anyone who missed picking up their Daytona race award in December may do so at the upcoming national at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC.

Due to limited transportation space, these awards will be brought to the track by request only. If you are due an award and would like to have it delivered to you at Kershaw, please contact Sissy Mendenhall at the WKA Office no later than Tuesday, March 17th (704.455.1606 x13 or via email to sissy@worldkarting.com).
