06.07.05 -- Sixteen classes and only 9 winners in the opening race for the 2005 Rage Karts Heartland Speedway Pavement Championships at USA International Raceway in Shawano, Wisconsin.
Jacob Wilson took home the most wins with four total in Briggs Jr Champ Lite & Heavy and Jr Animal Lite & Heavy. Other double winners include Jacob's younger brother, Clinton Wilson, in Briggs Jr Sportsman 2 Lite & Heavy, Trenton Beckinger in Briggs Jr Lite and Heavy, Jon Chapman in Briggs Senior Champ Lite and Heavy, and finally Justin Kern in Briggs Lite and Medium.

06.07.05 -- National Road Racers head to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course June 17 -- 19 marking the halfway point for the 2005 season.
With three races under their belts, karters in the Dunlop Tire National Road Race Series head to Mid-Ohio in Mansfield, Ohio. Points standings are already tight and will only get tighter as the season progresses. Being one of the most competitive series on the WKA circuit, anything can happen at Mid-Ohio or any of the four remaining events this year.
Kevin Webb leads the way leading three classes thus far in the season, including 100cc PP Lite, Yamaha Medium, and Yamaha Sportsman Lite.
