Seattle, WA (May 26, 2006) -- Desert MINI of Las Vegas, NV will be the title sponsor of the June 2-4 Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by the IRL event at Buffalo Bill's Hotel & Casino in Primm, NV. The race, to be known as the Desert MINI Grand Prix will feature prominent MINI branding and promotion and will be a continuation of the series' strong relationship with the brand that began in 2005. " MINI sees the relationship with the Stars of Karting as a natural extension and expression of our own racing heritage. We feel that the MINI Cooper exhibits all of the attributes associated with karting, superior quickness, ride, feel, and handling. Unlike in past events, on-track MINI demo drives will not be a part of this particular event.
The Desert MINI Grand Prix will take place June 2-4 on a temporary circuit in the parking lot of Buffalo Bill's Hotel and Casino in Priim, NV and serve as the second round of the West Division of the Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by the IRL.
