PSL KARTING RETURNS TO THE STATES FOR CKI GRAND PRIX OF NEW JERSEY
Canadian CRG importer travels to New Jersey Motorsports Park this weekend
MILLVILLE, NJ (June 25, 2009) -- The Canadian CRG squad of PSL Karting will make its return to the United States this weekend as it will contest the Championship Karting International series for the first time at the New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ. The CKI Grand Prix of New Jersey will take place at the F1 New Jersey karting facility inside the new and large motorsports complex about an hour southeast of Philadelphia.
Running under the PSL tent for the weekend will be 2008 Florida Winter Tour champion Fritz Leesmann and Colorado's Sabre Cook. Leesmann, absent from the seat since the final round of the Tour in March, working for a few drivers as the wrench since. The Californian will make the return behind the wheel aboard his CRG/Maxter KZ2 package. Cook, coming by way of the CRG dealer Critical Zone Racing at Grand Junction, will be contesting her first CKI event as well in the IAME Junior division.
PSL will pack up and head toward the Caribbean to take part at the Caribbean Karting Carnival in Kingston, Jamaica. The Jamaican Karting Association will be hosting the event at their karting facility July 3-5. PSL will be working with drivers Leesmann and Olivier Sirois in the ICC shifter division. Jesus Rios Jr. will rejoin the PSL team in a Rotax Junior machine since campaigning the Florida Winter Tour schedule. Diego Barkhausen from Dominican Republic and Thomas Issa from Jamaica will carry the PSL colors in Mini Max.
