ST. ALBERT'S OWN MIKE CZAJA TO ATTEND SUPERKARTS USA SUPERNATIONALS
"Canadian pilot set to attack Rotax Senior division"
October 24, 2007 - After becoming Alberta's youngest ever senior level champion, Canadian pilot Mike Czaja will hope to do the same at the 2007 edition of the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals. With the event taking place at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 14 -- 18th Mike will look to battle the best of the best in North America for the SKUSA SuperNationals title.
After entering the sport of karting in 2003, it did not take Czaja long to get up to speed and garner his first victory. The talented Canadian pilot began tearing up the Alberta region in four-cycle before moving to the Junior Rotax Max class in 2005. As Mike continued to progress through the ranks the success kept coming as he finished inside the top ten at his first ever Canadian National Championships in 2006.
In 2007, Mike moved to the ultra competitive Rotax Senior class and teamed with Calgary, Alberta's Evolution Racing. In his rookie senior year, Mike claimed four wins at his home track in Edmonton and five top tens in and around the Calgary area. With his race wins and strong consistency, Mike was able to garner the Alberta Rotax Max Series Championship becoming the youngest champion ever in the senior level of karting in Alberta.
In this great success, Mike sets his eyes on the ultimate prize at one of the prestigious North American racing events ever held, SuperNationals XI which he and Evolution Racing will be attending. Czaja will be alongside teammate John Kwong as well as driver and crew chief, Brent Bolster with the help of his dad, Ed Czaja and mentor and mechanic Kerry Nevatte.
