"Multi-time champion has busy '06 schedule"
Guelph, Ontario -- February 20, 2006 -- Multi-time karting champion and Stars of Karting front runner Scott Rossi is set for a busy 2006. At the age of 14, Rossi will compete in the Stars of Karting (SoK) West championship as well as selected SoK East and International Karting Federation (IKF) events.
Rossi's season will begin in early March as the junior driver will compete his Kart Racing Technologies (KRT) Hi-Rev Engineering Junior Intercontinental A (JICA) package in Primm, NV at an IKF event. The talented youngster will use this event as a warm up for the upcoming Stars of Karting Race of the America's in Norman, Oklahoma where he will look to take the victory.
Throughout his eight year karting career, Rossi has claimed several Westwood Kart Club championships, was a BCKCA champion and has been a three time Gold Cup IKF Northwest Champion. Rossi will look to add to his already impressive resume as he will work towards attaining the Stars of Karting West and National championship.
In 2006, Scott Rossi and Rossi Motorsports will utilize the Hi-Rev powered KRT chassis. Rossi will work closely with Hi-Rev engine builder Marc Zartarian as the duo will look to claim the top step of the podium.
