Spring Run, PA_ The first points race for karts and quads at the Path Valley Speedway Park has been cancelled for April 6 because of the snow and cold.

That pushes the first points race for the four-wheelers and karts back to April 13. Gates open at 10 a.m. for the Saturday kart and quad races. The season's first Junk Car race, with the Vintage Car Club as the support division, will be Saturday evening, April 13, with gates open for that show at 5 p.m.

The Path Valley Speedway Park is located in Spring Run PA a mile north on PA Route 641 from the intersection with PA Route 75, halfway between Port Royal and Hagerstown. It is five miles east from the Willow Hill Exit 14 of the PA Turnpike.
