On Victory Lane at Greenwood Valley

Brian Kishbaugh was "The Man" at The Greenwood Valley Action Track on Saturday evening. Kishbaugh won the Sportsman Micro Sprint 250cc event then went on to pick up a victory in the Regular 270cc contest. Kishbaugh, a Nescopeck native, had lots of challengers. Sean "Hollywood" Good, Middleburg, was making every effort to catch the leader, but had to settle for second place, just feet ahead of third place finisher, Colby Womer, Mt. Pleasant Mills. Sean Stolz, Bloomsburg, was fourth, Eric Heydenreich, also from Bloomsburg, was fifth while Hoss Uhrin, Freeland, was sixth. Rounding out the top ten were Chad Thomas, New Berlin; Pat Bealer, Northampton; David Utt, Catawissa, and Denny Rinehimer, Bloomsburg.

In the Sportsman micro sprint contest Kishbaugh was "King" and danced to an easy win over Rick Morris, Catawissa, and Jim Reese, Bloomsburg. Another Bloomsburg resident, Kevin Hayle was fourth, John Gearhart, Bloomsburg, fifth and sixth was Kirk Miller, Catawissa.

Jeff Hartman, New Jersey, beat the field in the Rookie Micro Sprint Final. Tammy Schane, Hamlin was second and Ken Duke, Selinsgrove, was third. In the fourth slot was Nunzi Allegrucci, Jermyn, leading Ryan Osborne, Milford, NJ, in fifth. Rounding out the field were Deb Arner, Berwick; Terry Schane, Hamlin; Nick Schlauch, Churchville; Gary Payne, Bloomsburg, and finally, Bryan Zanolini.

Gates will open next Saturday afternoon at 3, warm-ups begin at about 4:30 at The Greenwood Valley Action Track, located 3 1/2 miles east of Millville just south of route 254. See you at The Action Track.
