On Victory Lane at Greenwood Valley.

Steve Buckwalter visits The Greenwood Action Track only a couple of times every year, and often he wins. That was the case on Saturday night as the Douglassville area driver stalked Eric Eckert, Yardley, through much of the Feature event and then, just when it counts, passed and picked up first place. Eckert managed to out fox Jason Kemp, Bloomsburg, who wound up in third place while, hard on his back bumper, was Jeff Furlong, Selinsgrove. In the fifth spot was Eric Heydenreich, Bloomsburg, sixth went to Sean "Hollywood" Good, Middleburg, and seventh to Brian Kishbaugh, Nescopeck. Winding up the top ten were David Utt, Catawissa, Rick Tanner, York, and Colby Womer, Mt. Pleasant Mills.

In the 250cc Stock Micro Sprint Sportsman Feature the prize went to Brian Kishbaugh while Chad Thomas, New Berlin, came in a close second. In the third spot was Shane Penny, Berwick, while in fourth was Tim Buckwalter, Douglassville, fifth was Jim Reese, Bloomsburg, sixth Jake Starr, Millville, and in the seventh slot it was Gene Lewis, Sunbury. Making up the next three slots were Kevin Faus and Rod Faus, both from Orangeville, and Craig Fox, Bloomsburg.

In the Rookie Micro Sprint finale, Sean Stolz, Bloomsburg, broke into the winner's circle for the first time this year. Stolz's team has been working hard for this victory and the emotions ran deep at the finish line. In the second spot was Jake Starr, Millville, third was Phil Weinsteiger, Green Lane, fourth was Dusty Jagger, Port Crane, NY, and in fifth position was Jason Harman, Berwick. Sixth spot went to Deb Arner, Berwick, seventh to Brian Terwilliger, Addison, NY, eighth to Larry Sauers, Allenwood, ninth to Tim Buckwalter, Douglassville, and ten spot was taken by Tammy Schane, Hamlin.

Join us next week at The Greenwood Valley Action Track, located 3 1/2 miles east of Millville just south of route 254 when the Garden Tractors will be back in full strength along with a full card of Karts and Micro Sprints. Bring the family and the love of dirt track racing, and we will see you at The Action Track.
