Formula A victor to feel the power.

30 April, 2003 - While the incentive of taking out the victory in the second round of the 2003 Dunlop Australian CIK Championship at Bolivar Raceway in South Australia is enough for most drivers Formula A competitors will have an extra incentive to win this weekend.

The Pure Power Formula 4000 team (www.purepowersport.com.au ) will continue it's support of Motorsports future stars when it offers a test in one of their Formula 4000 cars to the winner of the Formula A this weekend.

With Formula 4000 being the fastest form of open wheel racing in Australia it will provide a perfect opportunity for one of Australia's brightest karting stars to have a taste of the Holden power.

Opening round winner of the Dunlop Australian CIK Championship, Jason Hryniuk was delighted when he heard about the news yesterday.

"Hey that's cool but I won last round can't I test because of that?" joked Hryniuk.

"Oh well suppose I just have to try and win twice in a row I suppose but it ain't going to be easy with the likes of Richie (Richard McLeod), Wallie (Matt Wall) and Tomo (Andrew Tomlinson) breathing down my neck."

The opening round at Melbourne's Todd Road circuit produced one of the toughest and most exciting Finals in the 11-year history of the CIK Championship and with an extra incentive of the Pure Power test the action should be just as electrifying this weekend.

Bolivar Raceway is located on Summer Road, Bolivar (next left off Port Wakefield Road after the Bolivar Gardens Caravan Park).
