29 August, 2003 - With Remo Racing Trulli karts dominating the proceedings in the Intercontinental A class at the fourth round of the Dunlop Australian CIK Karting Championship at Dubbo it has elevated Trulli kart to the top of the AON Manufacturers Cup.

The swag of 72 points collected by Trulli kart's 8 drivers was the most points achieved by any manufacturer thus far in the Championship. Entering the round a mere 1 point behind Arrow the Trulli kart collected a victory, two second places and a third to enter the final round of the Championship with a lead of 19 points on 235 points.

"You couldn't wipe the smile off my face when Glenn (Powles), Ballsy (Tim Ball) and John Martin filled the top 3 spots in Intercontinental A podium," smiled Remo Luciani at the end of the round.

"Ben McCashney also drove a great race to charge from the back to finish second in the Juniors."

Intercontinental C star sensation Andrew Thomspon snared the victory and the important 20 manufacturers points for Arrow and added to the pair of thirds by Matthew Wall in Formula A and Kiwi Michael Burdett Junior Intercontinental A aids them to be a clear second in the Cup and within striking distance for the victory.

Despite a slender weekend on the podium Birel kart remain in third position on 149 points narrowly ahead of CRG on 138.

Rounding out the top five is last year's AON Manufacturers Cup winner, Top Kart on 137 points.

The next round of the Dunlop Australian CIK Karting Championship will be held at Geelong on October 18/19.
